Trojan park brake handles secure your boat trailer when parked. Fit all existing hydraulic Trojan calipers.
In Australia, park brake handles are not mandatory on boat trailers. However, if you have a $100,000 boat, adding a hand brake handle makes sense to prevent the boat trailer from rolling away.
Trojan caliper slide bolts are factory-secured with locktite. We do not recommend installing park brake handles yourself. Instead, have your local trailer or boat repairer install this device for you.
Trojan recommends the two stainless screws provided with the park brake handle be locktited into position. This procedure returns the caliper to the manufacturer's requirements.
Note 1: It also fits Alko hydraulic calipers, provided you replace the Alko slide pins with Trojan slide pins.
Note 2: Install park brake at the rear of the rotor.
