4 Stud Galvanised Lazy Hub suit Holden and Ford Bearings
Four stud galvanised lazy hubs are used on trailers under 750 kg and as a rear axle on a tandem trailer or caravan setups under 2000 kg.

What is the best trailer bearing to use?
We recommend Japanese bearings for high-speed highway use and longevity of your bearings.
Check your bearings yearly for water ingress or black carbon deposit in your grease.
Carbon black indicates bearing wear, so they will need replacing. The carbon black comes from wear on the casing of the bearings.
A quick way to check wheel bearings is to jack up the wheel and grab the wheel top and bottom. Please give it a good shake from front to back.
At Couplemate, we machine our four stud galvanised lazy Hubs at our Wynnum facility in Queensland. Landrover, Range Rover, and metric Landcruiser studs variations require 48-hour notice until we supply these for your axle build.
