It is a cylindrical bush with an inner diameter of 18mm and an outer diameter of 22mm. The bush is typically made of steel or brass and provides a smooth and wear-resistant surface for the rocker roller to roll on.
Rocker roller arms are used in tandem and tri-axle trailer suspensions. They reduce friction and noise and can extend the life of the rocker roller.
Note: Please inspect the 16mm holes for wear before purchasing these bushes.
Also, inspect the rocker arm steel hanger, as the bolt hole may be elongated.
If associated components show excess wear and tear, replacing the entire rocker arm and hanger is wise.
Installation
- Select the side that has no casting overhang resting on the old bush.
- Remove the old bush by placing the new bush over the top of the old bush.
- Ensure there is room under the old bush to push it out.
- Tap the new bush with a hammer until the old bush is entirely expelled from the rocker's arm.
